- Open Photoshop from Yesterday
- Create a Layer Group called Complementary Colors
- Move all your Complementary colors inside of this group
- Select a color that is in the middleish area of the color picker.
- With the text tool type "Monochromatic"
- Create a new layer
- Create a selection with the square or circle
- Fill your selection with the the same color you used for your text.
- Create a copy your filled square or circle layer
- Deselect (Ctrl+D)
- New Concept Layer Adjustments
- Go to the layer menu and select Layer adjustment -> Hue Saturation.
- Make sure you have "Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask" screen shot below
- Move the Saturation slider to the right or left and you have a perfect monochromatic colorfor you color.....
- A color opposite on the color wheel.
